Ok so my situation was a little complicated because I live on the third floor of an apartment building but still need to be able to look outside to gauge the traffic and decide which way to go. I have to say that I'm very impressed with these shades. We purchased these for our condo on the beach and have to say that these are amazing. Im glad I saved money by shopping online. I ordered samples beforehand and compared them to samples that a local window blind company brought to my home and they were identical. I can honestly say that this was the best purchase I've done in a while. Even my husband loves these shades. We installed them on the windows overlooking our pool so we get to keep an eye on the kids while inside relaxing with our adult drinks ;) Only downside was that the installation took my husband and I. - Use A Steel Measuring Tape
- Round DOWN to nearest 1/8" for WIDTH
- Round UP to nearest 1/8" for HEIGHT
- When replacing old window blinds, measure the window opening itself, not the old blind.
- ALWAYS record the width first then the height.
